Just want to make sure I have this right - any 94-00 axle/CV joint will fit into a Torsen diff?

Thanks!

94-97 has stub shafts like the 1.6 cars, and they will work. 1.6 axels are to smalland wont work. 99 cars dont use the stub shafts. The axels are one piece. or ANY 1.8 axel will work.

So the 94-97 axles will work but I'll wind up with stub shafts instead of the one piece style? Thanks Al!

FYI: The ones without stub axles (99+?) are favorable if you have clearance problems with your exhaust, as the part by the diff is smaller since it doesn't need bolts there.

They actually switched from stub shafts (2 piece axles) to 1 piece design midway thru 1995 so the 1995.5 to 2005 all used a 1 piece design. But all 94-05 axles are compatible with Torsen.

Not in the northern section of Siberia the one piece axel didnít come out till January 3 1999 at 3:15 am. You see they work late there due to the tough economic times that plagued that region back then. It was primarily a factor of poor government structure. One could say that the Dollar vs Yen could have caused a dramatic decline in the cause of the Ruble. IMO

Be aware that a torsen out of a Mazdaspeed turbo Miata uses a larger spline axle on the inboard side. the outer joint is the same
