In an attempt to get the word out - I received the following email this afternoon:
"Due to the low number of entries for the S/R/PDX scheduled at Hallett for September 13-14, 2008, the event has been cancelled. We sincerely regret the inconvenience to those people who planned to attend. This was a difficult decision to make, and one that was not made lightly. Please let anyone know about this cancellation that you think might have been planning on attending as a participant or worker.

Yeah this one ends my MW season. That is three MidAM races cancelled this year. I needed this one to qualify for STL. Well there you go.
