Lots of talk about what everybody is doing in 09.
Some of the BS going round says some MidDiv SMers are going Pro Racing, some are switching to other classes, and some are going to do more then one.
What are peoples plans?

Mine are to do Memphis double and the first Hallett and St Louis. Thats it in MId Div

Then I will probably do one at Road Atlanta, the Sprints and Runoffs.
I think I am skipping the first weeks in Florida this January.

Well it looks like I will still have old red 43 so if my nephew gets his novice permit in april I will run the MAMs in SM,thats it in midiv.

For some reason I don't have it I will rent or steal a few rides in midiv where ever.Maybe rent a ride somewhere that seems fun and doable with a good group.Doesn't have to be SM.

It is going to be eligible in SSB & SSC this coming year. Differnt weights.

I better have a car with an edge. Coming from SM to another class I expect the Tech to include strip & full body cavity search! All the whiners moaning about cheating have the whole world figuring SM is a hotbed of crooks!
Hell I bought an old SSB car to have some fun with in B and next thing I know they classify it in C too. I figure it was a pity thing! [Big Grin]

BTW Light Heavy, Too bad you are exiled to the continent, you could finally get a chance to drive that Beeg Mota miata you have always talked about. Drago is running a Blue Light Special on it in Jan. [Eek!]

Both GIR races if there are two, sprints and runoffs if I'm lucky on vacation time, and hopefully a blackhawk weekend in there somewhere. Should be enough to qualify if I keep up the good work during the regular season. Maybe I won't suck so bad in the snow.

If my schedule won't fit around the runoffs in '09, I'll probably try to rent a couple enduro rides and do the GIR races to keep the license current. Still toying with the idea of a GAC ST rental as well, Mike made that sound like a shit-pot of fun.

I'll run Memphis, 1 Gir, 1 Hallett 1 Road Atlanta, maybe 1 at Mid-Ohio (Gotta get at least one lap under green) and if the budget allows the sprints and the RunOffs.

But first I have to repair the motor and the Radiator, that could cut the season down.
