I have not received my 2010 GCR and have no had a chance to download it yet...
What was the decision regarding mirrors? I removed the external mirrors and replaced them with two internal mirrors (right and left hand side). Do we need to have external mirrors?

Trevor, yes you will need the exterior mirros to be legal. Section 8d specifally calls for the exterior mirrors to be left installed on the car. Most likely would not draw a protest in a regional race but why take the chance?

The location of the stock mirror may be moved as long as it is still external and is within 6 inches of the stock location.
9.1.8.8d OEM exterior mirrors shall be retained. Mirror mounting position may be changed, but must remain within 6” of the original location on the exterior of the door. The OEM interior mirrors may be removed, relocated or replaced by a mirror of any design.
