Anybody have a spare diff nose / case / whatever you wanna call it? Doing a swap and just need the rear end case for the PPF mounts... I'll be using an RX7 gear, limited slip and aluminum case, just need the steel nose section so I can use the PPF and save the time/effort of engineering diff and trans mounts.

Cheaper the better, or maybe we can trade some other parts around? I've got a couple 1.6 and 1.8 heads/engines that are unmolested along with a lot of other odds and ends...but of course I've sold every last diff I've had! PM or email me, chris -at- taylorrotorsports.com

Chris,

The 1.8 third member '94 and up to about '05 will take the Rx7 (2nd gen non turbo) limited slip diff. The gears will have to be '84-'85 Rx7 as the pinion is too long on the 2nd gen to fit into 3rd member. You can use the '84-'85 limited slip diff if you cut the retaining ring groove for the axles.

Good luck, J

Yeah, I think I've got all my parts in a row... I just sold off all my Miata diff's! Still have a bunch of RX7 diffs and 2 or 3 sets of 84-85 clutch diff rebuild kits.

Now to figure out how to put these 4-piston GTU brakes on a Miata hub...

Thanks all, I found one locally. And the August Fastrack may save me from building the car with the ST rules changes. I'll be building a car to compete with... myself.
