Who is all running in August? Only 11 entries?

I guess everyone really did quit?

Word on the street is Clements will be here in a silver 1.6, pending flight arrangements. Looks like I lost my seat....but I will be there to crew/change diffs after smokey Kyle Busch style burnouts on the front straight.

Ok, Chris and Taylor.... which one of us is going to roll over and let Willie have a 'self-esteem' win? It's just like youth soccer now.

Hmm... bad choice of words since I did dream of rolling my car in a race.

I don't think that counts as "beat". Also then I would have two 1.6s when I need NA 1.8 and NB 1.8!

SM is still has the most entrees, currently at 15. So is the low turn out due to burn out, or is racing on an old swampy rice farm in August not desirable, or is there another event at TWS the week before? Maybe a combination of things. Will be interesting to see the turn out for the TWS event this weekend.

Hope everyone has a clean, safe, and fun event.

I won't be there. In UK on vacation at moment and car still in pieces after playing dodge ball (unsuccessfully) with weighted cone in middle of T1 at TMS.

Willy, you can have my position....

Incidently, nothing like driving on narrow English back roads to sharpen the mind. Mad dogs and Englishmen in their panel vans at 75mph.

Do I have this right? Chris and Mike are both building 99's and I think Trevor is now in a 99? When I built my 99 at end of 07 I was one of maybe 4, now maybe 60% of the field will be 99's in 2011. Huge change. Come on Kent you know you want to.

Craig,

I just suck, so I want something easier to drive and to push my fat 235 pound a$$ out of the corners after I park my buddies in their 1.6s.

Micheal,

You know this is just going to make Kent and Tard get even more vociferous (that's pissy Tard) on the forum. But sooner or later...

You probably will find that the braking is different due to the extra weight and you may adjust how you get on the gas (slightly earlier). Mostly if you can slow the 90's down a tad mid corner you can accelerate away from them on exit. Really annoys them. LOL. And you will look cooler doing it.

Realistically though the smart 90 drivers will push you mid race till your tires give up due to extra weight and then wave as they go past you on last few laps. So it's a game you have to learn.

On the other hand we look to get a legal FPR and timing which will be at least, oh 10hp <g>, while Kent gets to buy new suspension which he is dying to do.

I don't have much to defend myself on that comment. However, I don't hit people who spin in front of me in qualifying, which proves we are both kind and gentle men.
