Anyone have an old 1.6 or NA 1.8 transmisison collecting dust? I need one for a rebuild project and looking local here in Houston to avoid freight.

I have one.
In a box at the shop.
In a thousand pieces unfortunately.

Can you put it back together and then I'll buy it from you [Smile]
Seriously, Greg Lucas will charge me a lot more if I take him a box of parts rather than one already assembled... thanks for the offer though!

I've got one that came out of my street car. ~110k, no crunchies, synthetic as long as I owned it.

Just out of curiousity for future reference, will the any transmission (NA or NB) work in any 1990-2004 car? It looks like the gear ratios are the same throughout those years.

yes any trans will work in any year car,but 99 up has a different shifter so 99 up trans needs a 99 up shifter.the flip side is the 99 up shifter works in all year trans's
