15 out of 20 for me, I guess I don't pay enough attention to commercials. Never knew that Kia's logo had a specific color.

15 for me too. I'm actually disappointed in myself that I knew the proper logo for Pontiac. No one should have that kind of info clogging up their brain.

16/20 What got me were the tag lines, and I also thought the beetle was the highest seller, but it's not even the highest selling VW! The Golf is--according to several lists I've seen.

It's Corolla at 32M, Ford F series at 30M, Golf at 25M, Beetle at 23M.

Now...does the new Beetle count as a Golf b/c of drivetrain layout or as a Beetle b/c of shape? [Smile]

Ditto on the score and the Beetle. I swear the Beetle used to be in the Guiness Book of World Records as the most sold car. Guess the Toyota has overtaken it...

Beetle is most sold "model" of a single design, Corolla is most sold "nameplate".

Please elaborate on "single design." I'm assuming you mean RWD vs. FWD Corolla counted as one model. In that case RWD vs. FWD Beetle should be counted as one but I'm not sure how they did those numbers. Beetle started as 1200cc and I believe the last ones made in Mexico were 1800cc and fuel injected...but they were pretty much the same thing.

Not sure how they did those numbers either. I'm giving myself a 16. [Big Grin]

They call the Lotus 7 the longest running production model of all times since Lotus sold Caterham the production line. Other than the body, it's a bit different than the 7 of old and although you could buy them turn-key, I think they were always a kit so I'm not sure it should even be called a production model. (I will own one some day though. Oh yes I will! [Cool] )

What's that saying? Statistics don't lie but it's easy to lie using statistics.

I'll take one of the newer 7 replicas with a quality engine over the original any day. I saw one running at TWS with a Honda F22 engine in it. Talk about some sweet sounds.
