There is a summitt point 12 hour. The times have changed, I think 8 to 8 or 9 to 9. It is not going to go long into the night to save money.

Nelson is having a 12 hour as well, no 24 hour this year.

Entry now open for WDCR 12 Hours at The Point 2009.
New format 9 am to 9 pm.
Too bad, the night part was fun.
But entries were down last year, hence the new format to maybe attract more cars.
Only 9 cars entered so far - let's get more, it will be a good race.

Guys, this race is only a month away... need more miatas! The WDC region puts on an outstanding race, and there are tons of rental guys BASED AT THE TRACK.

Can't wait to get back in the seat after last year's podium. We have seats in the Mitchum '99 for serious drivers.

Mitch,

The condition of the track surface might be a question for some, my understanding is that after the NASA race that the caracole is not looking so hot, 12 hours on that is a tough sell for some. That said, I am sure that the track is looking into it and has some sort of plan to deal with it.

Banged up track or not (can't be worse than years past!), these enduros are absolutely the best bang for your buck in SCCA... track time per $$.

Already fixed. They resealed it after the NASA event prior to the Jefferson 500. They have been doing a good job of maintaining it this year.

12 to 15 realistically. I think we see 35+ start the race. I would like to see 40+.

We'll be there in the Type R again.I am going to sign us up this week. And for us who like the night time drive it is a little bit of a bummer but then again a few less things to bring to the track works for me.

Mitch,

I might be looking for a ride, we might not be back to defend the SSM title this year. It is a shame as we were looking at making it three in a row for this car.

I'm working on entering the King RAT Lexus under Cadence like we did at the 13 Hour but can't commit until I have three or four drivers lined up...

I missed last years event but 2007 was a blast!

I'll be there driving a BMW that is already entered. Undecided as of yet, if we are running ITR or ITS.

Hopefully we have better luck with the wildlife this year, and have a better race than a hunting trip.
