If this is the wrong place to post this question I apologize in advance.
What are going rates for used engines today?
I have a 1.6 that has been in the back of the garage for 4 years and has about 100k on it, it is complete except for the coils.
I am clearing space and was going to put this on Craigslist but cannot find others to compare it to for pricing.
any starting place would be appreciated

Thanks

When I blew up my original in '06, I paid $400 for a 77k mile engine at a local yard. $100-200, it will be gone as soon as you list it. You can ask $300-$500 if it includes a lot of bolt ons, but it may not move too quickly, depending on the market in your area.
