Just got a note from TrackDaze (HPDE Group) and it looks like they are redoing some surfaces. Just thought I's pass it on...

Dave

If you are concerned about the track conditions deteriorating we have GREAT NEWS about our July 13th-14th event on Summit Point's Main Circuit!

We have just confirmed with track officials that resurfacing will be done on turns 5-6, and turn 1 will be torn up and have concrete laid back down. This is to take place starting Monday July 7th. We will be the 2nd event on the new surface!

It was actually a bit better last weekend than it was for Hyperfest, most notably T1.

Glad to hear they are laying concrete back down, but I'll believe it when I see it [Smile]

You'll have to let us know how it is. We will be back to SP in early August.

T1 with concrete, wow.

Hope they make room for 5 cars instead of 4.

The last event was on the Shendoah track but

Track condition on SPR's main circuit wasn't too bad at MARRS 5, considering it was after the 12 Hour event, which tears it up bad some years...

Still, if BSR is going to resurface a few turns, then so much the better.

You forgot that little event called Hyperfest,
that was after the 12 enduro.... then there
was MARRs 5.

U R correct, forgot Hyperfest, but I guess that means that the track was in surprisingly decent condition as of MARRS 5. [Wink]

They redid some turns after Hyperfest. T1 was a wavy mess. Much better at MARRS 5.
