I wanted to see if any Miatas from the forum will be in New Jersey on Oct31 and Nov1 with NASA.I finally will have my car ready and me too. So, I will run my first race to wet my appetite for next season.

See you there?

Unfortunately not going to make this one. Hard to juggle halloween and a race.

Let me know how the costume party goes. Part of me is imagining what can only be called an unmitigated disaster.

The first two words that come to mind are "very wet". Six Miatas entered the race. My car is a SSM car but I was entered as a SM car. I thought a 50 car field was a pretty good turn out for the last race of the year in N.J., in November. This was my very first race so for me a 2nd place qualify and not finishing last (4th) was a great way to start.

I just finished a video and posted it on the tube.

Gary,
great racing with you! I didn't know we were that close to hitting when you spun!! I saw you hooking back in front and just drove off to avoid. Then at the next heavy brake zone at the end of the back straight I must have had a bunch of mud up in my wheel wells from going off and it was falling on my tires. When I went to hit the brakes, all 4 tires just locked up and went straight off.Oh well,I look forward to next season!!!
