Automotix has a web site, and the prices look pretty good. Has anyone done business with them in the past? Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks guys! As it turns out, Automotix is a nationwide broker of used engines/transmissions, body parts, wheels & rims, etc.

Before I ordered through Automotix, I found out that the used 5-speed would be shipped from LKQ Michaels Auto Parts from Orlando, which does have a good reputation.

The tranny was from a 1999 with 37K miles on it, and comes with a full one year guarantee. The price of $425 was the full bottom line delivered price.

With a bunch of help from Pat Wehmeyer, we got it in last Saturday and so far it is running like a champ (It should take me a couple of events to mess it up)! : ^ )
