I just did a google search. the second line was for "automotix scam" It appears this is an offshore company with a bad reputation. Beware

Try Car-part.com , you'll find anything used you need nationwide.......Or just call Big daddy D at Eaststreet.com for used miata parts........ Tell him Chains sent you you'll get a 50% discount for sure....

Thanks guys! As it turns out, Automotix is a nationwide broker of used engines/transmissions, body parts, wheels & rims, etc.
Before I ordered through Automotix, I found out that the used 5-speed would be shipped from LKQ Michaels Auto Parts from Orlando, which does have a good reputation.
The tranny was from a 1999 with 37K miles on it, and comes with a full one year guarantee. The price of $425 was the full bottom line delivered price.
With a bunch of help from Pat Wehmeyer, we got it in last Saturday and so far it is running like a champ (It should take me a couple of events to mess it up)! : ^ )
