Thanks to our sponsers!!

Autobaun this past weekend (7/21-7/23/06) was absolutely a blast. The racing was very close and competative and the festivities were topped off with a bunch of prizes and awards from Toyo Tires, Vilven Tire Co., Whittle's Performance Accs., The Winning Formula, Hawk Performance Brakes, Planet Miata, Mad Anthony Beer from MADBREW, and Traqmate from Richard Cranston.

Saturday's race was also a "Dash for Cash" as The Winning Formula, Eric Meyer, and Dennis Joynt put up a 350.00 purse split 200, 100, and 50 to the top three finishers.

The old lap record for this course was ripped to shreds as a race lap of 1:42.7 was posted by Dennis Joynt and a qualifying lap of 1:42.29 was post by your's truly.

Most prizes were distributed by random drawing of all SM entrants and I believe everyone got something worthwhile.

With NASA, SM gets our own start and the racing just keeps getting better.

Prepare yourself for the upcoming Mid-Ohio event by registering NOW so we can get our own run group!!! An so you can get in on the prizes that will be given away at that event.

More details will follow and an article and in car video will be posted on the NASA Midwest website.

I'll settle for your's, Mellman's, or Schultz's motor. I wouldn't mind having the Race Engineering PP and Clutch that is probably attached also.

Race Engineering is the shop to be with right now. Everyone should Call Bob and Order there's today. Make sure you tell them Greg Stasiowski referred you when you call. [thumbsup]

Uh-oh, Greg said "motor". My God, man, have you not heard of the Mike-Neal-Said-"Motor"-One-Time-Too-Many-And-Blew-Three-Motors-Curse??? [nope]

The clutch ... well ... blame Backus for that ... [duck]
