TOYO Tire has put up the big money and contingency for all SM regional races and for the 2007 NASA National race.

National Race Payout for first place will be 4000.00 again this year so long as we get 30 entries. I don't see that being a problem.

So, All you SM'ers out there sitting on the fence, this should decide it for you. You should be running the full regional season and the NASA national race this year for your best shot at money and free tires.

Read More about it here: http://www.nasaproracing.com/

OK, more good news, Mazda has renewed their contigency for the NASA national race also. That makes 1st place worth at least $7000.00 again this year.

Hoping to win 2 years in a row,

Damn it Greg, you're going to have all the hotshots showing up. I already see where Shawn S. has requested a car number. [Big Grin]

This year's champ race is going to be even tougher. [thumbsup]

yes, . Turnout is week.
So they group everycar together. Expect to be out there with GT-1's, American sedans, you name it is on the track. I found the one event I entered to be not as organized as SCCA. It was run more like a HPDE. But I believe that it will get better as it grows. THe guys that run it here in the northest is more familiar with just doing track days then race days. I am not trying to be negative, they are nice guys but if 35 SM's showed up, it would turn their world upside down, not to mention all the protesting that goes on. I think they would run screaming.

I forgot to mention, because of the low car counts they piggy back with other organizations, such as a vintage group or their own HPDE. The race I attended was with a vintage group. They had first choice of everything and the NASA groups were filling in between there run groups.
