A local guy I know is offering to sell a used set of Team Dynamic wheels. I think they are 1.2's. He's not sure how much to ask for them and I'm not sure what they are worth either. It seems like you can get a new set for a little over $500 or so. What's a used set worth assuming good functional condition? They have some used hoosiers mounted on them, but I'm assuming the tires are junk and will pull them off to put some toyos on them.

I'd say $75 each for a good wheel. If they're $100 each, I'd think most people would just spend the extra $100 or so and get brand new wheels.

Thanks! I bought them and they look decent. A few very minor scratches on them. As I suspected, the old Hoosiers on them just need to be thrown out. But the wheels are great.

and if those wheels came off a race car, ain't no way i'm buying. i'd consider some off an hpde or street car, but unless you're going to do a dye pen test on them (can they be magnafluxed?), i wouldn't trust them. wheel failures are scary. wheel failures to save a couple hundy are (IMO) sad. SM wheels are (relatively) cheap.
