Can one run 205 50 16s on a spec miata in an HPDE without the tires rubbing, etc? Iíve got some tires I want to use up off my Mini at that size on SSR rims.

BTW, anyone know if those rims are legal in CSP autox? I assume they are.

That depends on your suspension setup and wheel offset. 205-50-15 will rub in a typical SM setup without rolled fenders. It can cut all the way through the tread to the cords. Same width, same aspect ratio, taller rim...

Im pretty sure rim diameter is open is CSP...

A 205/50R16 would be 1" taller than a 205/50R15.
I think it would hit a lot. You'll also make a drastic change in gearing. It would take a lot of torque to get them rolling.
