Can one run 205 50 16s on a spec miata in an HPDE without the tires rubbing, etc? I’ve got some tires I want to use up off my Mini at that size on SSR rims.
BTW, anyone know if those rims are legal in CSP autox? I assume they are.

That depends on your suspension setup and wheel offset. 205-50-15 will rub in a typical SM setup without rolled fenders. It can cut all the way through the tread to the cords. Same width, same aspect ratio, taller rim...

A 205/50R16 would be 1" taller than a 205/50R15. I think it would hit a lot. You'll also make a drastic change in gearing. It would take a lot of torque to get them rolling. Joe TreadZone
