Anyone know where the RA-1's are manufactured? I hope its not in China. Since our wonderful US Government just put a 20-30% Tarriff on all tires from China.

It only applies to low end tires. I don't think the RA-1s fit that catagory.

After searching for the last 1/2 hr I actually found the documentation and it specifically excludes race tires.

4. Pursuant to section 421(a) of the Trade Act (19 U.S.C. 2451(a)), I have determined to provide import relief with respect to new pneumatic tires, of rubber, from China, of a kind used on
motor cars (except racing cars) and on-the-highway light trucks, vans, and sport utility vehicles, provided for in subheadings 4011.10.10, 4011.10.50, 4011.20.10, and 4011.20.50 of the HTS.

Toyo has plants in Japan, China and in the US. Not sure if the race tire exclusion applies.
I think technically RA-1's are DOT tires and may not be considered racing tires.

It applies to almost all tires produced in China. Most of the tires produced in China are low end tires. Toyo, Hankook, Cooper, Kuhmo and many others have some of their street tire lines manufactured in China and will be affected by the tariff. The RA1 and the R888 are produced in Japan.
