I was a Hawk user for years, in IT and Showroom. At the suggestion of several SM'ers, I switched to Carbotech when I converted my '99. A big improvement, at least for my driving style- the modulation under threshold braking is much better. Seems like they are living longer as well, although that's often a function of where you race.

XP10 front and XP8 rears is recommended as a starting point by Carbotech. Saferacer (site sponsor) carriers their pads and offers a 10% discount to SM racers.
