Just getting started and would like to be organized from the start. I would assume you guys have setup sheets and checklists that you use for practice sessions and prerace? Would you guys be willing to share some checklists so I could modify them to my own needs and some blank setup sheet templates?

Thanks

Gary,
Try the search function. Tons of info on checklists and some really good setup data sheets.

Get in and drive. That's all I do other than messing with tire pressures.

Uh, search function, really? They have one? I won't say what I really, really want to say. But if there were "TONS" of templates on this forum I would have not posted the question.

Keep a copy with you a few days before and during and after the event. You'll start adding (what you forgot), modifing, etc. to make it your own. Like your car, you'll always be tuning on it.

Gary like Keith said "search" Todd Lamb was kind enough to post his setup template last year and there are several threads where people posted checklists. I found them all by searching.

Please guys, Stop telling people to search the forum. [nope] It's quite annoying and does nothing to help. I searched the word setup and checklist and found a couple of pages. But most had links to templates with dead links. Yes, I found Todds sheet but with thousands of members in this forum you would think there would be more than just one template. Thanks guys for sending me private messages offering help.

My appologies if the links are dead and yes sometimes there are pages of useless search results BUT (and zis is a big butt!) you would be amazed how many times people post a question that was discussed in great detail a week before plus numerous times before that.

I'll give you one good guess where I found a variety of good setup sheets and checklists which is why I suggested a search. [yep]

The search system on this site sucks balls and takes forever. I don't blame anyone for not searching.

Things I added to my list after two separate [banghead] moments... car key...wallet. Amazing what you can forget when you're in a hurry to load up your crap and go.

I guess the only thing worse would be to open the trailer and realize you forgot to load the car. [Eek!]

Lee, can you expand on your use of a spanner wrench for adjusting ride height?

Not sure what a spanner wrench is, first off.

I had a devil of a time twisting the perches up and down the coilovers. Yes, I backed out the allen screw.

Does a spanner wrench grip those machined holes in the perch? Then what do you use to hold the coilover in place?

I did both by hand and it was not fun.
