If the car sits for 4-6 weeks between events are any precautions necessary to keep RA1's from flat spotting?
TIA

I've never noticed flat spotting on my race tires (streets yes, but R compounds nope).

This is a question that only an SM racer would ask. With every other class, 4 to 6 weeks between events would mean major work on the car. Up on jack stands, wheels off, etc.

The flat spots would be from the Nylon Cap ply taking a set. It will work out when the tire warms up. If your going to park the car for the winter it would be prefered to put the car on stands and take the weight off the tires and suspension.
