Did creating a path for cold air to flow into the intake become legal?

Matt, are you going to make us go thru all those photos? [Frown]

I found it. [Smile]

Was that a mechanical problem or was he serious?

Pat,
I have no idea, I didn't see it until going through photos today - my question was sincere though, was there a rules change that I missed?

We've been doing that in the East for some time now.
Put an aircraft landing lamp on the pass. side and you're good to go for night racing. [Roll Eyes]

Doesn't say you can remove the headlight bulb either. I'll cut Tex some slack - his car is sporting "Body by Kuch". I'm guessing the actuator rod for the headlight came off of the motor and it was flopping in the breeze. Does make one think larcenous thoughts. [scratchchin]

No rule change.

Any HP increase probably negated by 'air brake' effect.

I'll second the slack for the "body by Kuch"... Once upon a time, I too had an actuator rod that would not stay attached & I can attest to the fact that the headlight doors will flap in the breeze.(and it was really annoying) My fix was to tape the headlight down, but that too was frowned upon by the folks at Road Atlanta... like my car was ever aerodynamic! [Eek!]

Looks pretty good considering the circumstances!
