Links to the Supps, Schedule, and registration are now available on the Atlanta Region website (www.AtlantaSCCA.org). There's a track-sanctioned test day on Friday, July 16 ($225 for the whole day and they DO offer partial day rates as well), then separate qualifying and SARRC races on both Saturday & Sunday.
Pro-IT qualifies and races on Saturday.
This will also be the debut of the (much debated) SM2 class for '90-'97 cars. You guys with the early cars that say you don't want to (or can't) compete with the '99+ cars now have your own sandbox to play in.
See y'all at the track...

Butch....Thanks again for taking the heat for giving all the older Miatas a class within a class. I don't doubt that we'll see a few "highly-prepared" 90-97 cars that will hold their own with the 99s, but from what I'm hearing behind the scenes....quite a few of the "basically stock" Miatas of that vintage are getting dusted off for this coming race, the Barber Labor Day Weekend, and the ARRC...So, it should be fun...!!! So, come on all you guys with older SMs....let's show Butch and the Atlanta Region that we want our own Regional Class for 2011...!!!

Or show you don't like this idea and come race the Spec Miata/SRF enduro at the Sebring driver school. 65 minute enduro against the spec racer fords on the short course! We had lots of fun last year and the 1.6 is very competitive on the short course!
