Is there any difference in the 94/95 engine vs the 96/97? Or was the horsepower gain in 1996 due only to sensors and OBDII?

HP gain was OB2 only. The 96 /97 has a better a:f ratio than 94/95 cars. If the 94/95 car isleaned out a biot, theymake the same power. The 96/97 is actually a touch lean

Looking at MSN Auto Specs a 95 show 128hp, 96 shows 133hp, so there is a difference.

The "Specification" on the tool line above shows there's no difference in CC and valves, page 16.
I would guess it's what you said, the ECU and sensors, maybe more, but I'm no expert.

and a touch more compression in stock form for the 96... which of course goes equal with SM rules...
