Spoke with James yesterday, he said he's off most pain meds but still major bruises here and there. I guess that's good considering the seriousness of the shunt.

Glad to hear he's okay. Anyone know about the flag station worker? They said at the track that the worker was okay, but they said the same thing about James.

I heard the cause was a brake caliper failing/falling off? Can anyone confirm?

The corner worker was untouched and sustained no injuries, choosing to run rather than hunker down in the bunker. Thankfully, he ran quickly and in the right direction.

James appreciates everyone's concern and support. Thanks to all who helped and/or offered to help.

Thanks Clement and Alan- (Clement sorry we didn't get a chance to say hi... 6hr?)

That corner worker not only got out of the way but ran up track and continued flagging... huge wav-os- buy that guy a beer!

Saw some photos - Thank God NASA is on the forefront of safety - that new side net on the passenger side, I'm sure helped in more ways than one!
