Gorrarian flag to flag for the win! ...appeared that Drago, Pombo and Lamb couldn't catch him using the draft?

Pombo/Lamb went at it for 3rd in the closing laps.

...the fun is probably just beginning...

Great race and coverage. I don't know what you "black screen" people are doing wrong, because I've been watching race coverage for the last 2 days with no problems using the link posted at the beginning of this thread.

I'm getting the itch to run a national race or two next season to see where I stack up. I just installed the Gorilla's radiator from last year in my 99, so I should be up 4HP now ;^)

I watched the T3/SSB race with only the sound delay problem. Then I left the FM race on while I was making myself coffee and breakfast...I could hear it playing OK. Then after the FM race checkered, the feed died. I was never able to get it to work again.

I wonder if the sudden increase in demand from a region triggered a DoS attack prevention mechanism? Any IT Security experts out there have an opinion?

Hey guys,

Speedcast has been archiving every race and will be adding some in-car footage before posting them to the site in their 'On Demand' section. I expect it will take a little while to get all 24 races produced, but they will be on the site sooner or later.

For those of you who were able to get the feed, I'm happy you enjoyed our race call.

Re-posted from Speedcasttv Techsupport Forum

Hey all,

Thanks for letting us know about the streaming issues (sound sync and feed loss during SRF) . We are aware of them and are working on a fix so the remainder of the event will go more smoothly. We're also working to answer your tech support questions as soon as we can.

Just a reminder- you don't need a membership to watch any of the SCCA content. If you did subscribe and would like a refund for any reason, just let us know at support@speedcasttv.com.

Rest assured that all the races will be available on-demand in a few weeks.

Thanks,
Clark Cambern

Finally got the web feed back after disconnecting and then restarting. As long as I kept it on the small screen it was OK. What a shame that I was watching a 1 ft square on my 50 inch HD tv.

Thanks Rob and EFR for commentating. It can't be easy commentating all day long.

What a great race. Matt's interview was great. Wish you guys would interview Todd Lamb. What a battle.

Great race, and great coverage!!! Sorry some of y'all had stream problems...I had some issues with the stream during the first two races of the day but it stayed solid for me for the whole SM race. We definitely need a Mac compatible stream too. Speedcast will be getting the money I'm not spending on cable TV from now on! The racing, the coverage, and the commentary was as good or better than anything I've seen on any network...even if the drivers were getting paid a bit less.. [Smile]

Edit: now that I think about it, I think I got the small stream and made it full screen for the SM race instead of choosing the full screen stream. Maybe that was the secret.

Yeah, i'd like to see it too. And if anyone could tell me why it happened, that would be great too. That fruitcake started pointing at me then tried to push me off the track. Then he backed up into my car in the pits. Honestly dont remember effin' up his race or anything. But instead of saying something to me, he had to behave like a child. Whatever.
But on a better note, the race was a blast, wish i could have worked with someone, but everyone seemed to just want to keep passing in every turn at any chance they had, which made it almost impossible put some distance on anyone. But it was still a great time, and lots of clean racing, which is always enjoyable. Thanks to all the workers, and spectators too. Hope to do it again next year.
