need a new tranny for my 1990 1.6 !!!

tranny is the same for all 90-97 bro... I have one in my garage but is sticks going into 3rd so it really isn't anything but an emergency option.

But if you need one quick, I am right over the hill, come on up.

planet has one for 300 used --- 94-97...might be a nice upgrade...

I believe even a '99 transmission will work (but requires the shifter too because it has two locking pins instead of the one on the gen one units).

I was told do not buy one pre 1999. After that Mazda beefed them up. I found a great 2004 with shifter, for 500.00, only 60000 miles on it. Rebuilds are more expensive than a used one. I know racers that will not touch a pre 1999.

yeah, well, buyer beware and all that. I upgrded my old trans to one with 36k miles on it from a '99. I pulled the drain plug and thoughut...Is it tyipical to have this much metal floating around?
