Anyone know if there will be a tire vendor willing to mount/dismount Toyo's at this weekend's event?

I may find myself mixing/matching some tires on my 2 sets of wheels during the 3 day event and wanted to make sure I was going to be covered.

TIA!
Brandon

I believe Chris Windsor will be there this weekend. I saw he has something up in the classifieds about free delivery of tires to the track. Not sure if thats what your looking for though. Just thought i'd throw it out there! good luck this weekend!

Thanks - he's actually the one I'm getting a set of new tires from.

Chris - you feel your ears burning?

I didn't know/wasn't sure if he had mounting/balancing with him normally so was tossing it out to the forum to see if Tread Zone or someone else might be present.

We learned the hard way that the Hoosier guy at NJMP (Hoosier Tom?) doesn't/won't mount any non-Hoosier tires. Though it may have been the Goodyear guy...don't recall as it was the wife who rambled off with the pair of tires that weekend.

Bob Smartee will probably be there....he will mount and balance toyos. He just charges more for tires you bring him compared to tires you buy from him.

I've also had the tire place in town do tires for me, but they charged like $35 per piece. I was in a bind during a trackmasters event with two corded tires.

PBR...hmm.... [scratchchin]

The wife may look a bit askance at that selection but if it gets me another friend in the racing world I think it might be worth it.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions and see you this weekend!

Last I checked Smarty was drinking more Monster than PBR.

Ohh, hope you're not afraid of dogs.

We are there with tires and spares on board, no room for the shaving and mounting equipment.
Plan is to get there tonight sometime...
