No one talking about the virtual 3 way tie in the MARRS SM championship... to be decided this coming weekend at Summit?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall a MARRS SM championship being this close to a dead heat going into the last race.

What are the odds makers saying?
Kopp...
K Zalner...
S Brunk....

Good luck to all, wish I was going down.

Too close to call Mitch.....it will be a good race for sure. As of today 30 SM and 25 SSM. The weather looks great for some great racing.

Hard to pick after seeing the Meatie '99's running so fast at MARRS 10. Every position will be important and I see we have some outsiders in the mix:

1 SM The Stig BLACK 1990 MAZDA MEORTOR RP PERFOMANCE

[Eek!] [Eek!]

I see some foreign folk in the SSM race as well. Looking forward to a fast and fun weekend [thumbsup]

Having THE STIG signed up changes everything.

Guesses on what "MEORTOR" means?

Haha. I moved to Virginia from Jersey not too long ago. I even bought a pickup truck to try and fit in and I still feel like a foreigner! [help]

But really, the racing is great here.

One of the best SM races I have ever seen today. First three were Kopp, Jacobs, Zalner.

I heard but didn't confirm that the Championship was so close that it went to # of third place finishes... [Eek!]

Here is the link to an album that shows Brandon Bunkley's crazy crash. My FiancÚ took these photos from turn 5, and she caught one when Brandon was mid-air after spinning off track and hitting the embankment on track right in turn 3. We hope Brandon was OK after this one.

I am ok a little sore. But the car may be done it is kind of bowed up in the front. I guess this will be a winter project. I will start pullin it apart next week.

I had the best day at the track cracking into the 1:29s most of the day on Saturday.

To haveing the worst day Sunday.

That is a scary quiet sound when you are in the air.

Glad you are ok Brandon. I wish I had video because I was the first car behind the two of you. I am thankful not to have been involved, but it was really close. I remembered the incident a little differently than how it was re-told to me. Funny how the mind plays tricks on you when you see an accident like that.
